Tay Boon Pin 郑文彬
Migrated from his birthplace, Sumatra (Indonesia) to Singapore in 1945, Tay graduated at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1956. He was a key leader in organising fine art activities in Equator Art Society in the 1950s and 1960s and emerge as one of the most accomplished Singaporean artists in the fifties.
